This album was recorded using an ultra-sound BatBox Duet in London in 2007/8. The Batbox Duet is a dual-mode bat detector, with both heterodyne and frequency division, which has been designed for single-handed operation. The large LCD back-lit display is extremely accurate and easy to read at all light levels. Frequency amplitude detection allows post-recording computer analysis of sonar peak-frequencies. There is a voice commentary button for annotating recordings. For more information please go to: http://www.batbox.com. No bats were injured during the recording of this album.

As Dead Letters Spell Out Dead Words, Gothenburg based composer and sound artist Thomas Ekelund has delved into a time-consuming investigation of the complex, multi-faceted world of solitude and introspective darkness. His pallet is strictly greyscale, but the tones he uses are deeper, more honest and more heartfelt than anything else out there. ....

Psychedelic Harsh Noise from Finland. "Haare creates the soundtrack to the next electronic apocalypse. Windswept, slow-motion drones combine with static feedback to paint a bleak interior landscape. This is experimental nastiness taken to illogical extremes, not for the timid but highly recommended."

"anyone expecting a rackety wall of distorted feedback guitars and voices will be gently surprised though by the sparse and intimate sketches to be found on this wonderful record. songs are stripped down to their raw bones using only the most essential elements to reveal the soul behind every single sound. superfluous effects seem to be completely absent, creating an open space for miniscule details" ....

"There once was….the incomparable voice of Maja Ratkje. Fairytales sometimes come true, certainly in the case of this Norwegian composer and voice acrobat - the infernal twists and turns she manages to contort her voice in are breathtaking. With the help of modern electronica and the most agile vocal cords of the western world Ratkje manages to create her own magical domain. ....

"Andreas Tilliander’s sixth album to date under his abstract electronics moniker MOKIRA. It’s his most simple, direct and physical album so far.
